I love my Rietveld Chair!!! It was very fun to make because I only used the table saw for cutting the wood. I used my #4 plane to size all of the parts. Then it was time to use my new Lie-Nielsen plane for smoothing it out a little bit. For the joinery, I used dowels. For finishing I used boiled linseed oil. First I sanded down to 80 grit, then to 120 grit. Then I gave it two coats of boiled linseed oil.
