Shop Tour - Submitted by Doug from Canada

Here is my shop, not as elaborate as some, but it is a work in progress. It is a 16 x 24 garage converted to a work shop. When we bought the house, the garage was bare studded walls. We installed all new wiring and fuse panel insulated and drywalled it all in approximately 2 weeks. It has a natural gas furnace to keep the glue, and my butt from freezing in the winter, and air conditioning to keep me cool in the summer. For machines, I have a General 15″ planer, King 6″ jointer, King 14″ band saw, a Delta table saw, and a King dust collector with various other power and hand tools to keep me entertained. All machines are on wheels so I can keep them out of the way when not in use. I have only been into wood working for a couple of years, and am loving every minute of it. I have been taking a cabinet makers course at a local college, and have designed and built a couple of my own projects. Check out the nice little project I just finished for my very lovely wife on the work bench. Thanks for that one. :) Thanks for all the tips, and keep the laughs coming.
