Amateur or Pro: Amateur

Finish Used: Nothing

Wood Species: Pine 2 X 4

Project Description:
No joinery required. I can cut little reindeer from a 6″ piece of 2 X 4 in about 15 minutes or less on my band saw. The I hot glue on some googly eyes and a bow tie and its finished. People love decorating their desk with these at the office.

This is made from my own design that I have shared on lumberjocks. Just print it out and spray glue the paper to a 2 x 4. Cut one side and double stick tape it back together. Then cut the remainder. Pull off all the taped pieces and a reindeer comes out of the center. Its fast, cheap, easy, and people love it.

That’s officially the coolest thing to come from a 6″ section of 2×4 in a long time!

    Geat project!

This reminds of when a friend and myself spent an entire weekend making reindeer out of logs. That was a lot of fun.
