This viewer project is from Angel, and 18 year old student. And this one comes with a special bonus video! Check it out! And Happy Birthday Angel!
The other day i was seeing the last part of the end table and you were talking how projects feel special sometimes. Well, this is my special project. I have worked in this project in my woodshop class in school. This is the top and I am going to start turning a center post next week. The table is made from walnut and maple. I want to use those two woods in the center post as well. The top is covered with table epoxy. I did the design by cutting thin strips of walnut and maple and gluing them together .Then I cut them in a tilting angle and glued them together, and made the pattern.

Very nice chess table, I love the video too
WOW ! Beautiful work. Great job
Keep up the great work, I can see a podcast website in your future.
Angel – Great to see someone your age doing such incredible work! That looks fantastic!
The post and the details in the top show some real artistic talent. I think you have exhibited a real eye for design in this one.
I loved the video and the music was great. Just another medium for expressing your creativity.

Very nice Angel. I can see why there was a blue ribbon attached to the table. I bet Mr. Thompson is very proud of you.
Angel – excelente!! I love the angled pieces around the border. Gives it depth it wouldn’t have otherwise. You have a nice flair for design. Keep up the good work.
Great Work Angel! Wish we had a woodworking class available to us when I was in high school. I’m glad you are taking advantage of that…and fel
Angel, How in the HE#* did you finish that intricate chess table in shop class?!? My Woodshop class was 50 minutes long and ten minutes was taken up for roll call and then you had to fight with 20 other kids for time on the machines.
This is a truely impressive work!
a lot of extra hours tell other teachers to go to shop.
Angel, nice work. I’m curiuos if there was anything inparticular that inspired the design? I really like that it is, to my knowledge, a unique piece. Did you use SketchUp or just pencil and paper to work out the different design elements. Either way, a great job!
“Knight to King Bishop three”
