If you aren’t familiar, the Easy Rougher is a very cool tool. Its a roughing gouge that features a 4-sided replaceable carbide cutterhead. So that means the cutting edge stays sharp for an incredibly long time. Once its dull, turn it 90 degrees. After all four sides are dull, simply replace the tip for about $14. That sure is better than hundreds of trips to the grinder! David’s signature version of this tool features a longer bubinga handle, and of course, David’s signature.
