The April Fools Collection

Every year, woodworking sites go to great lengths to entertain us with their April Fools jokes, and I always seem to miss a few. Not this year! I’m on the hunt for every woodworking-related April Fools joke I can find. And I’m going to post it here so you don’t miss it either. Hope you enjoy! And by the way, if you find some I missed, post them here so I can add them to the list.

On the pocket dovetailer video the guy says “I like to use a Sharpie marker because it’s a lot easier to see when I’m working” Absolutely hilarious!!!

  8. Shawn April 2, 2011

The best part is the picture of the guy cutting dovetails in his toast.

    “Mizikai yakunitatanai” = “Short useless”

(OK, grammatically, it should be Mizika*kute* yaku ni tatanai which would mean “short and useless”…but who’s counting? Great posts.)

I’m not gonna lie… I would probably buy a Pocket Dovetailer.

He tries so hard to keep a straight face using that pocket dovetailer. I wonder how many takes were needed to finish the video.
