Santa is loading up his sleigh for the big ride this week. We all know he has his notorious list that he checks and re-checks, right? So what we want to know is where you are likely to fall on this list? Naughty? Nice? Or something that requires a little more explanation.

Definitely naughty with a bit of “kids don’t try this at home” to boot.
No matter how nice i am, I always get treated like I’m naughty. And when I try to act naughty to get more coal for the blacksmith forge, people give me sweaters.
(Sweaters don’t heat iron well, and don’t work so well for finishing rags, if you didn’t know.)
Would have been real happy with coal here in NH!!!!!
What Santa doesn’t know won’t hurt! muhaha
Not too bad I guess. I got two sets of Lee valley chisels. Now which one to keep. The 7 pc Narex or the 4 pc. Stanley sweet heart chisels. Any thoughts?
Im always good
Neither, so I got a lump of coal and a small BBQ pit to use it in. Best of both worlds.
Naughty or nice… that depends on my view or their view.
After years of getting the usual shirts and articles of clothing, my approach to xmas shopping is, one for mom, one for me, one for dad, one for me… etc.
Throw in black Friday & cyber Monday along with all the holiday sales and you can treat yourself pretty good for the holidays.
I just discovered today that Lee Valley is having free shipping thru the first week of January. Hmmmmm, I think I’ll get myself a New Years present too!!!
JET JBOS-5 Spindle Sander. Nice list.
Before answering that question, let me tell you that last Friday in the afternoon a brown truck with a golden logo arrived my house, then the driver made me sign a document and gave me a cardboard box.
Happy in joy, excitement and nirvana I opened and this is what I found inside:
– Veritas Right Hand Small Plow Plane
– Five irons for the plane in different imperial sizes.
So I guess I have been a pretty much good boy!
Hey guys: I want you all to have a very intimate, happy and warm family meeting tonight.
It depends on who you ask, but the answers generally will range from “absolute darling” to ‘outright son of a biscuit jointer’, with the median response being “meh”.
I must be on the nice list, I’ve got my first jointer (6″ x 46″ Grizzly) in my shop, waiting to be assembled.
The new jet lathe sitting in my shop answered this one for me :D
I didn’t do it.
Nobody saw me do it.
You can’t prove anything.
It always depends on who your asking… and what day.
Yes.. :)
I’m definately on the naughty list, but it’s not entirely my fault. I haven’t finished the kitchen remodel yet. I meant well. The oak floor is in, and the island and cabinets that I built look great. But I got sidetracked by building baby furniture for relatives, making assorted gifts, and a few other pieces of furniture for the house. This happens to all of us right? No big deal. OK, it’s been four years! I should be begging my wife for forgiveness at this point. I guess I had better buckle down and finish it or I may never see another new tool before retirement day!
