WIA Pasadena – Free Gift!

Hey folks. I know some of you are heading to the Woodworking in America conference in Pasadena, CA this October and I am too! While I don’t have any formal events planned, I would love to meet as many of my fellow woodworkers as possible. So if you see me, don’t be afraid to stop me and say hi. I’ll have my “friendly” face on. Also, I thought it would be cool to bribe you into wearing Wood Whisperer gear to show your support for the site. If I see you wearing a Wood Whisperer T-shirt or hat (new, old, and Guild varieties all count), I’m going to give you something for free as a thank you. We have a new item coming into the store which hasn’t been announced yet, and you’ll be the first to receive one! I can’t tell you what it is, but I know you’ll appreciate it. Of course, one per person.

So if you don’t already have a shirt or hat, head over to the Wood Whisperer Store to check out the current selection!

“Guild membership plus a picture with me that then becomes the header of my Facebook page.”

Wow! And I was gonna do it for free.

Seriously though, too bad I live in the Midwest and can’t drive there.

I would love to Go to WIA in Pasadena. Maybe I can make it an early Christmas present for myself next year. I think it is the perfect location for the event. If I were going I would definitely go to the gamble house and try to head over to Rancho Cucamonga for a Malood foundation tour. The potential for learning and being inspired are endless.

I wish we had a conference like this one up here in Canada one day. I didn’t see any over the web. I went on the WIA website and it looks gorgeous.

Hey, how about if I wear the apron around the house instead?? :)

  10. I will wear my Guild shirt to WIA this year… Alas it will be the midwest show. :(

  11. LOL!!! Hmmmm..

  12. Buying a t-shirt now. Guess wearing my TWW apron would look kind silly .. although it would get me noticed. :o) Can’t wait to meet every one. This will be my first WIA.

Dang. As much as I would love to go to WIA, Pasadena is just too far for me to go. I’ll wear my TWW hat around the house if that helps at all :)
