I have been knocking some “honey-do” items off the list lately and as a result, my Festool CT33 and Boom Arm is sitting in our front hallway. This morning, I was carrying Mateo on our way outside for a little morning nature walk and he suddenly became fascinated by the Festool hose. I quickly grabbed my camera and got this picture of Mateo’s first Festool experience. I immediately thought of a few funny captions on my own, but decided it would be a heck of a lot more fun if I opened this up as a caption contest. Our favorite caption will receive a 1 Year Guild Membership!
As for the rules, keep it short and keep it clean. This is my kid we’re talking about here! :) The winner will be selected at the end of July.
Update!
Good news! Festool is adding to the prize package with their new Festool Surfix Applicator Set. Tackle your natural oil finishing tasks in just a few simple steps, and with significantly less mess!

Say hello to my little friend!!
Hey dad you think this cool you should see what I have waiting for you in my diaper!
Where does he get those wonderful toys!
Nice to meet you! You and I will solve many dusty dilemas together.
Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhbaby—Festool
I wonder if I can use this to swing over to the living room!
Festool….it’s how I roll!
Daddy, where do furnitures come from?
Yo pop, when can I get my systainers license?
Daddy, what do you mean by “Ribbed for his woodworking pleasure?”
This is way better than the other toys they bought me.
Daddy says this tool really sucks, sooooo, why does he keep it here in the house?
Or:
“I don’t care what mommy says we need MORE FESTOOL,even if I have to take a cut in my allowance for awhile.I won’t tell I pwomise”.
Hey dad, this beats tin cans and string any day.
Is THIS why Daddy calls my crib the Spagnuolo Systainer?
First thought I had when seeing the photo… The Festool is strong with this one….
Star Wars quote modified.
A Wood Whisperer gains power through understanding and a Festool gains understanding through power.
Reworded Star Wars quote.
“An’u belore delen’na”
“I don’t care what daddy says…this is so going in my toy box.”
“I wonder if this will flush down the toilet too?”
“You know dad, with a few modification I could get 10x more power out of this thing. Hargh hargh hargh hargh hargh!!!”
(That’s my best guess as how to spell the Tim “the Tool Man” Taylor grunt.)
